    1903 Handejector

Thank you very much. Ash was asking for me. I won the 1903 on a Gunbroker auction. Unfortunately the single action isn't working (going to the gunsmith next week). There is a chunk missing from the right side stock. I'll get some pics up shortly. Anyone know a good place to find stocks for...

    Alien Gear Holster Review

I'll over another favorable view of the AG holsters. I ordered my first one b/c the wait for the Crossbreed was 12+ weeks. That, plus the cost (less than half) made me take the chance. I ordered one for my Ruger LC9 (with CTC). It's an unusual gun so finding holsters can be tricky. Took about...

Opinions on Remora Holster for Summer J-Frame carry

I got the new holster from Alan the other day. I have to say, I'm impressed. I've been a fan of the Remora for a while now, but adding the speedstrip pouch to the holster really works well. The extra material to the front stabilizes the holster just that much better and it puts the speed strip...

How many of you carry a reload for your J Frames?

For me, I carry my Mdl 36 strongside in a Remora. Recently I contacted Alan about adding a pouch to the front of one of his #8s to carry a speed strip. Because of state laws (prohibited places), I'm in and out of places where even carrying ammo is prohibited so I wanted something that kept it...

Opinions on Remora Holster for Summer J-Frame carry

I've been using a Remora with my Mdl 36 for about the last 6 weeks or so. I love it. I've tried several other IWB holsters and hadn't found one that I liked. I have not tried one from either Lobo Leather or Bell Charter Oak, so please don't take this as a negative to those two fine craftsman. I...

    IWB Holsters Uncomfortable

I was with you for a long time. I couldn't find an IWB that was comfortable for me. I realized, just like our two residence holsters gurus point out, reholstering one handed was not something that I needed to be stressing so heavily. By eliminating this requirement, I reduced the overall size...

Tyler T Grip company shutdown - shipping again

Here's my story... I had ordered one for a J-frame a couple of years back (2006/2007) timeframe. When I finally got that one (it took about eight weeks as I remember), the bottom edge was so sharp it actually cut my finger the first time I shot it. I called their "customer service" and asked...

    Best J frame pocket holster

Does anyone have any experience with Tuff brand holsters? I was reading Stephan Camp's review of the one with a built in speed strip holder and thought that the idea was interesting. He seems impressed with the contruction and design. I was thinking about picking one up while I wait for one...

    Equivalent to SW3913 size

I'd have to vote for the Kahrs. I'm biased b/c a Kahr was my first firearm. Since you said that you are training cadets, what are the department's authorized weapons? If you need a larger single-stack 9mm for uniform use, I'd look at the T9 version of the Kahr. Good luck, Doug

    S&W 22A??

My 22a was the first firearms that my wife and I purchased together (I had purchased some before) in 1998. Both of us love to shoot it. I use a Tasco Red Dot that works great. The biggest problem that we've had is that she's left-eye dominant and I'm not, therefore the zero is different for...
