To you Really Good Shooters -

Go to the Clarks website and see what options are available for your 41. I hope you make the trip but be aware Clarks is not open on weekends. Dave

I learned something new in using my model 41

My experience differs. I Broke-in my 1978 41 with Stingers. Switched to Federal 500 round bulk boxes of 40 gr HV (Walmart closeouts for $7 or so). I kept the rails lubed but never had to clean for 6 boxes (3000 rds) or so. Lately I have been been shooting CCI SV and experienced failures to...

    Letter and surprise

I found a post by Roy where he explains that any factory sight combination was offered at no charge on the pre-27. As a result it was not always listed on the invoice. There was a charge for a target hammer and trigger, so they are listed.

    Letter and surprise

There is another pre-27 pictured in this thread that, like yours, does not have the red ramp. A third pre-27 does. Hard to figure out more from a sample of size three. More posts might help.

First shotgun recommendations please - Mossberg

Advice From Another Lefty Some good advice here about shotguns in general. However, most important for a left-handed shooter is a tang safety. Started shooting double barrels (tang safeties). Shot some right-handed magazine fed 870s. Adapted to curling around the trigger guard. Gladly...

This is why I stick with a Shield over a P365

I Voted No My reserve deputy duty weapon 40 years ago was my now 60 year old 19 (forced to carry 110 gr 38 Silvertips). Being reserve I could only carry on duty. My Bullseye and defensive autos are full-size 1911s. So naturally when I got CCW my EDC was 342 and/or 642 in pocket and/or on...

Model of 1950 .44 Special Target with documents

It is clear to me that after the handgun was shipped on April 9, 1953, it was returned to the factory and a 4 inch 44 Special barrel installed, some time after April of 1958. This scenario is implied by a close reading of the relevant documentation provided by Wetdog. Namely the letter from...

This is why I stick with a Shield over a P365

After reading the OP, I noted that none of the thumbnails show a Shield along with a 365. None appear in the thread. If I had both guns I would post some.
