What do you all think of the 516/517 (I prefer the 516 b/c of the 123 batts) with the integrated 7mm riser? I have the MOE edition with flip up BUIS. I like the side buttons as I plan on getting a magnifier at some point. Is a riser necessary? Do I only need a riser if I want to co-witness...

Yea, Fed Bulk, runs about $18/box of 550 at my local walmart. (there is a thread on here about local pricing too.) IMO don't expect more than about 1inch groups at 25 yards with this ammo. There is some ammo that is more consistant.

damn, you guys are great. what do you think of the 557 with the BDC (this has four 1 MOA dots for ranging) giving that I plan to use it with a magnifier at some point. Thanks

Hey guys, New to the SW forums and first time firearm owner. A few weeks ago I picked up a MOE mp15-22. Needless to say absolutely love it. Only one FFT in over 1000 rounds. I'll try to post some pics soon. Anyways, I was thinking of adding a eotech soon, I kinda like the older "longer"...
