I have a Remington 597 22magnum. It shoots best with the heavier loads. It will do 1” groups at 100 yards with the Federal 50 grain load if I do my part

There are companies that make rubber blocks that are stack able that I have seen in some shooting ranges . I think they might have been made from recycled tires

A couple of them were ground down buy a gunsmith to make them in to some unknown special tool. Was thinking trying to restore to correct length

I have a few blued steel sats that I have picked up that have had the blades ground down or are damaged. Anybody ever try to re-shaft one ?
