I've contacted ALL of the companies doing conversion barrels for the M&Ps and Glocks. With over 1 million shields manufactured (and growing) you'd think they would be interested. Not a single manufacturer has a plan for a conversion barrel. Great opportunity for a new guy to come into the market...

40C and conversion barrel Buy a 40C and buy a conversion barrel. Almost two guns for the price of one.

I'm currently in the market for an M&P shield. Are there any opinions on whether to get the 9mm or 40? Pros and cons? There seems to be a lot more 40 ammo out there and even as cheap if bought in bulk. I'm going from an XDS 45 to the shield because I didn't like the 45 and the gun didn't fit...
