Was there an issue with this model that required so many I see to have been returned to the factory and now have the factory"M" stamp? Thanks for the info, Dusty
I've been looking at 586's lately and notice that many of them have the "M" stamp indicating they were returned to the factory for service. Many of them for sale on variuos auction sights specifically state no "M" stamp. I am wondering if there were warranty or other issues with the model 586...
Well now you did it. S&W revolvers are a sickness. No twelve step program to date so just give in to it and enjoy the ride. :D Nice model 10 you picked up there. My 4" barrel model 10 is my favorite revolver. Enjoy.
I really wished I had a .22 revolver for her first time out but I haven't been able to find Smith and Wesson .22 I can afford. I did have her use wadcutters to ease the recoil. I might have to look into reloading if this keeps up. :)
I took my wife to the range yesterday for her first ever time shooting a handgun. I laid out all my revolvers and pistols at home and told her to pick the one that felt best to her. She chose a S&W model 36 snubbie. (I was so proud) So off to the range we go. Here is her target. She got all...
That's a thing of beauty. I guess if I owned it, I would clean it and put it back in the box. I'd take it to the range with me to watch me shoot another gun. Then put it back in the box and take it home unfired. :)
I read this forum more than I post but I got an auto prompt from the forum to post some more. So, here's a pic of my no dash model 60's I picked up so far this year. The bobbed hammer one with the Uncle Mike's boot grips is my daily carry.
