    Rough Life

This^^^^^^^. They have a guy walking all of the major shows here in Oklahoma. They are too cheap to pay a decent price for anything. I asked him once what he was interested in and he said "everything if you will knock off 40%!" I said "Why? So you can mark it up 80%?" He doesn't talk to me...

    S&W Performance Center 10mm & Hardcast Ammo

Not with an M&P, but yes, it has happened on occasion. My 10mm of choice these days is a 6" Witness Hunter. The mag design keeps the bullets far away from the mag catch. My other 10 is a Rock Island Tac Ultra HC with a fully supported Nowlin barrel and compensator. Both make even the heaviest...

    S&W Performance Center 10mm & Hardcast Ammo

The issue with the magazine popping out with heavy bullets can easily be fixed most likely with a heavier mag catch spring. What's happening is that the heavy bullet has enough inertia during recoil to pop the catch loose from the inside. One poster commented that his gun jammed when he held...

    M&P Spec Series V

dajogejr, the comp. may or may not contribute to the shooting left, but every gun shoots left for me out of the box. I could shoot any of your guns that you have dialed in, and it will shoot left for me. I've given up and accepted it, and adjust my sights accordingly. If I remove the comp. It...

    M&P Spec Series V

I shot mine for the first time today and was underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful gun, and the steel frame feels great. The underwhelming part is the compensator. Having a 9mm 2011, a .38 Super and a 10mm with compensators on them, this one is little more than a barrel weight. I...

    Resizing 10mm Brass

Both of my Delta Elites bulged brass bigger than my old man belly, so I was afraid to shoot them. I bought a Witness Hunter and a Rock Island Tac Ultra and both have fully supported barrels. Problem solved.

    M&P Spec Series V

Yes, it's threaded to the barrel, and can be removed and replaced with an included thread protector. Or a suppressor mounted instead.

    M&P Spec Series V

Just picked mine up last night. As new, seller picked it up and immediately ran into financial difficulties (called a wife.) I got it with a little trading and cash for right at 1K. Going to try it out this evening. The moment I saw pictures of it I just had to have it.

Does anyone shoot anything other than 9mm?

I see 9mm wundernines in droves at my local range, probably 3 to every other caliber. I shoot a lot of .22, .38 special and .45 Colt (it's not Long Colt, never has been, never will be, but that's an argument for another thread.) I find 9mm to be the perfect plinker round for semi-autos and leave...

    22 Target Pistol Recommendations

THIS^^^^^^^^^ When I got my first MKll at the age of 14, the first thing I did was read the manual cover to cover (thanks dad.) I then practiced field stripping it until I could have it broke down in it's basic components and reassembled in 30 seconds (again, thanks dad.) Now, since you have...

28-2 rescue. If you know what you are doing, a good deal can be had.

Actually, when I removed the Goodyear grips, oil ran out and made a small puddle. No chance at all of any rust forming inside or under the rubber grips. A welcome sight. The "new" parts were new to the gun, and left over from a target hammer and trigger swap I did on one of my 27s.

28-2 rescue. If you know what you are doing, a good deal can be had.

I walked into my local pawn shop this afternoon for my weekly visit. Everyone there knows me and we had some good conversations. One employee knew I liked 10mm,so they pulled out a SA XD 10mm. I politely explained that XDs don't do anything for me, and as they were putting it back, I noticed a...

New Aquisition: S&W Schofield 2nd Model - Wells Fargo

Absolutely beautiful. I had a 3 digit 1st model cousin that someone unfortunately ground off all of the express company markings before refinishing it. It was still fun to shoot and drew more than it's fair share of attention. Great find and thanks for sharing.
