    Shield 9 or 40?

Here in eastern Mass you can get an Apex trigger for $100 installed. It'll cut the trigger pull down to a smooth 6.5#. You will enjoy the difference.

    Shield 9 or 40?

I've got the Shield in 9mm and really enjoy it now that I replaced the Massachusetts trigger with an Apex upgrade. After purchasing the gun, I read somewhere that it you purchased the 0.40, you could then buy a 9mm barrel and recoil spring and then shoot whichever you chose, but since I started...

I've also seen that the 5-Star J2 product is supposed to be fine tuned for J-frames, but that the...

M&P15 Sport : forged or cast upper / lower ?

In general terms, aluminum alloys specific to casting contain a small amount of silicon. While this is good for some mechanical properties, it eliminates the possibility of using anodic finishes as the results are usually splotchy. Not what you would want on a quality firearm.

    I guess it's hers now.

Great Parenting! Truly great parenting, Dad! Your little girl will grow up with confidence in herself whether it is in the classroom or the board room or her personal relationships. No! I'm not suggesting that she'll be using a firearm inappropriately in any of these environments, just that...
