    M&P Shield Plus

Question; my M&P has a stainless steel barrel and slide, are all the other metal parts stainless too? This may have been answered elsewhere, sorry if so. AND - What about stainless steel revolvers, are all the metal parts stainless?

Mine was .25 too, and pretty pathetic! lol Thankful though that it served it's purpose that one time without having to find out if it would even fire.

Late intro to the forum from East Tennessee

The Rest of the Story; the one time I ever had to draw... 38 years ago, six very large drunk guys forced my pregnant wife and I off the road in our little truck, screaming at me that I had cut them off (I had done nothing except for trying to avoid them, as they were driving obviously...

Late intro to the forum from East Tennessee

Hey folks, I've already posted a few times without introducing myself. I go by eforest99 and live near Knoxville in East Tennessee. I love to shoot as a hobby and always carry for self defense. I've had firearms since I was 16 and started learning to shoot about age 8, taught by my Marine Corp...

Is this a Smith & Wesson Model of 1955 .22/32 Kit Gun Airweight, Pre-Model 43

It was always in this "plush" holster. I'm sure my Marine Corp Reservist Sharp shooter dad took care of it! lol She had it holstered in her purse or stashed in the car somewhere. It stayed locked up at home.

Is this a Smith & Wesson Model of 1955 .22/32 Kit Gun Airweight, Pre-Model 43

This was my mom's carry gun back in the day. To my knowledge she never had to draw it. I've tried researching information to verify exactly what model it is, but I do not have a high confidence in myself.

    What Constitutes "Reasonable Preparedness" ?

My reasonable preparedness is: -praying about everything and anything -staying alert and "in-tune" with what is going on around me -always doing my best to "keep the peace" and de-escalate -walking away if it's safe to -always having the entrances and exits visible if possible -always having...

    Bodyguard 2.0 with safety

Something that worked for me for a hard racking pistol, and I know everyone's situation is very different; but I got a rubber ball - like physical therapist use and exercised my hand grip. I did slow repetitions squeezing it and then also squeezed it and then just keep squeezing for a minute or...

New member , looking to get my first gun

Welcome from East Tennessee! All great advice! I can't add anything, but to simply re-enforce instruction, training, practice & safety. I've got several carry-able firearms. Ranging from a very small Taurus PT738 TCP .380 (I know some of these didn't function very well, but mine has been...
