I was not happy with a pistol that had a substantial trigger issue right out of the box. I contacted S&W and they said to send it in. The sight wasn’t right either so I asked them to align it. They replaced the trigger bar, that fixed the trigger issue. . And they aligned the sights. Gotta love...

I talked to S&W about the issue, they wanted me to send it in. It's in TN now, will update once I get it back. Also my pistol had the sight alignment issue so I asked them to address that as well. Thanks for the replies folks

When I pull the trigger slowly the striker does not fire. Not until I pull a bit more after the trigger is already hard back against the stop. I can hear the spring and the snap of the striker at that point.

Thanks for the reply - that is not the issue here. When I pull the trigger just a bit more briskly, it functions correctly every time. That is what happened when I tested it before buying. But when I pull it slowly as you would when carefully aiming, I feel and hear a click that almost sounds...
