    610-3 grips

Found some hogue grips at the lgs. I'm not convinced they're really round butt grips owing to the strange gap and the labeling, but they work and do the trick. But they don't look like the website pics.

    610-3 grips

Hi Just got a brand new 610-3 and while I can shoot the original grips, I could use slightly smaller/thinner grips. Lots of choices online, but near impossible to tell sizes! Looking for hints/tips/advice Thanks,

    Skipping Steps?

You can measure with a caliper, use a case length gauge and sort it out pretty quickly, or do nothing. One of these options leaves something to be desired. Anal, perhaps. Knowing for a fact that none of your cases are out of specs? The time it cost you. As the commercial would say...

    Skipping Steps?

they relate back to some of the answers given. I don't have enough invested in the answers to go through it Barney style. Bottom line, the reason you trim cases is to make sure they are within specs. The safest way to know if a case is within specs is to measure. Any other answer is a product...

    Skipping Steps?

Naturally. I am merely concerned that so few answers have anything to do with methodology or leveling. No one actually asked OP questions like: -where did your brass come from -have you measured your brass; is your brass in spec? -how many times has your brass been reloaded? -what calibers are...

    Skipping Steps?

Their resources also possibly exceed yours. All your other points are valid, and one of the reasons I don't pick up others range brass/ But again, ultimately, and without making this caliber/firearm type specific ("in a 38spl revolver, I would"): Would you knowingly reload and shoot brass...

    Skipping Steps?

finally, one of two reasoned answers. You trim based on case length. Case length is determined by measuring, not by asking on forums. Does checking every last piece of brass sound like overkill? Sure, it does sound like it, but it's that, or run every piece through a trimmer, and then spot...

    629 explodes

Even then they could argue your equipment was at fault and the cause of improperly loaded ammo. I would stick to not having anything to do with anyone I would suspect of suing me... Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk

    Revolver barrel removal

I'm surprised y'all are surprised. Midway, Graf's, etc, sell plenty of parts that require no gunsmithing. Little by little, either skills improve, or stuff gets broken. It's only a matter of time before someone tries to take it one step further. Now, the smart ones will do the research to...

Looking to mitigate recoil from my M&P 10

The laws of physics dictate that there are only 3 things you can do to tame recoil: Increase the rifle weight Decrease the bullet weight and/or speed Use exhaust gasses to counter the recoil. Anything else will make the recoil more tolerable (at best) but generally will not really decrease...

    M&P10

Trigger: can and yes, was replaced with a Geisele 2 stage. Night and day. Mags: hard to come buy. Take a number where you can. Mid-length handguard: that's a yes. Barrel: Plan is to enjoy the current barrel until I feel like like getting a new barrel. Nothing wrong with a lighter barrel...

    M&P10

OK, as soon as I get my photbucket account back up and take some more pics. Went to the range today (29 degrees...) and broke the barrel in some. My match load for my M1A did OK, but between the "trigger" (or whatever S&W calls that thing), the crude front sight, the snow and the cold, well...
