    M&P Sport or Ruger AR-556

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like I can't go wrong either way. I'm partial to S&W, I own several including other rifles and M&P handguns and they all function flawlessly, but I'm certainly not opposed to other brands..Ruger makes a decent product, and while the FA and dust cover aren't...

    M&P Sport or Ruger AR-556

I want to pick up an "extra" entry level AR and keep it in its stock form, ~ 6-7.5lb range. Would like opinions on Ruger's AR556 compared to the Sport. I like Ruger's 1:8 barrel twist over the Sport's 1:9, and the Ruger does have some different features than the Sport for the same money. I...

    Strikefire

I agree. The 2x thread on magnifier is okay at best, not much eye relief and having to thread it on and off isn't as convenient as a flip to side magnifier. Whichever model you choose, go for the red dot only version. I have the Strikefire red/green dot version and the red dot isn't terrible...

    FNG from Wisconsin!

Hello All! I've been lurking on the forum for a while now and finally decided to become official. I've seen some sick firearms on this site, the pic threads are pure badassery. I proudly own 2 S&W's, the second, an M&P 15 Sport, was acquired today! Now, the good stuff: 1st: M&P 15-22 Magpul...
