    Very tight holster

Following a previous suggestion I borrowed my wife's hair dryer and applied bout 30 mins of high heat, which from all indications seems to have worked, I can now draw from the holster without running the risk of wrecking my shoulder. Thanks guys. (y)

    Very tight holster

I should have mentioned that the holster is a standard Uncle Mikes made of a nylon type material, certainly not leather.

    Very tight holster

I recently purchased an Uncle Mike's Holster marked as being suitable for a S&W Model 41, (Size 5) but found the fit to be extremely tight. It took quite a bit of effort to push the firearm into the holster and even more to pull it out. Any ideas as to how to loosen things up?

    747 going out of production

I flew the 747 for the last 16 years of my 40 year career in aviation, logging just over 11000 command hours, spread over 6 different models. The aircraft was without a doubt, "The Queen of the Skies." If you are interested in reading further, I have attached an article that I wrote some time...

Air India #171 - update - might be a purposeful crash!

"In the olden days of 3-man cockpits, were those fuel switches controlled by the Flight Engineer? Having one crew member just keeping the engines running and the lights on may have been the better idea." No the engine fuel levers (Switches) were always operated by the pilot flying. The F/E had...

Air India #171 - update - might be a purposeful crash!

On older - pre glass cockpit aircraft - the fuel levers had a mechanical connection to the fuel control unit. On this aircraft movement of the switches just sends a signal to a computer, (A full authority digital engine or electronics control system) or FADEC. It is possible that in this...

You bought it cheap, and it is obviously not your only target pistol, so I would follow your initial feelings. Let's face it a life without some fun, is not really a life...(y):ROFLMAO:
