I had a 7lb pull after installing the duty kit also. Called Apex and the said to reinstall the original spring. It is now 4.4lbs.

I use Hoppes, non-chlorinated brake cleaner (same as Gun Scrubber at 1/5th the cost and Mobil 1 oil.

I would guess when it stops working.

My Shield 40 came with a 7lb, 3oz pull and of course gritty. I installed the complete duty kit and it resulted in a 6lb, 2oz pull. I called Apex and they said to put the original trigger spring in to lighten it a bit more. I ended up with 4lb, 2oz pull and couldn't be happier. My groups...

I called Midway and the guy said they didn't list a 9mm barrel for the shield. Anyone have the Midway part number?

I guess I am one of the lucky ones to have a 40 Shield that has no problems with over 600rnds down range and it also shot to point of aim out of the box.

"hopefully when i send them back they'll send me the 17 rd mags for the full size" Didn't you state you could only have 10 round mags or am I missing something?

927 is the first 3 digits and 38 special will not fit so it hasn't been modified. I'll get some better photos tomorrow if that would help. Thanks for your input. Jerry

I have this 38 S&W and would like to get some info on the year and maybe some history. It appears to have lived in England. Would it be a collectable?
