Just got my clinger holster! It's been exactly 3 weeks after ordering.
At first glance it looks pretty sweet. Retention is just where I like it. Much better than the old desantis insider leather holster :P
It prints just a bit more as I did not get the flush fit, but still very...
I wish I had a trigger pull gauge...
But comparing my PPS which is rated at 6.1, it feels very very close.
I'd say that the PPS after broken in is around 5.5 and the M&P 9L PC is around 5lbs.
Though, take this with a grain of salt
yeah, I guess because they are starting to get popular, their lead times have increased to 3-4 weeks according to their site.
Hope I get mine soon! I got the 0 degree for appendix carry but I'm assuming I can use it for 3-4 o'clock carry as well.
Yeah, I actually just heard of them, and ordered their Stingray model for my Walther PPS. Did some research and from the limited data saw that it probably will be a decent buy, especially at their low prices.
Ordered a little over a week ago so expecting to get it in 2-3 weeks.
Is that movement during lockup or with the slide pulled back slightly?
Also, Randy, with the SDI apex barrel, what is the estimated wear before the hood/lugs don't have that tight fit any longer?
Not sure if I worded that question correctly.
It does wiggle slightly but how much is acceptable? Is it supposed to be no wiggle at all?
I have a Walther PPS (not the best comparison) and it's supposed to have fairly tight tolerances so the accuracy is pretty well noted. It has a tiny amount of wiggle; less than the M&P but it still has some.
Question about the M&P9L Performance Center 5". As it is supposed to be hand-fitted and all that, do you think it is susceptible to the same loose tolerance barrel wiggle/ lockup issues you mentioned previously?
hmm interesting. I have the ported 5" and never thought about getting a non ported barrel for it maybe for competition so I don't have to shoot open. Wonder if that qualifies for production
