My wife loves to shoot .22's and has quite a few. Anytime a neat .22 comes into the shop I make a point of giving it to her. She has more than twice as many guns as I do and is therefore in a bad position to deny me the occasional purchase.
I charge $15 for a transfer and exact shipping. The $15 is based on the fact that I'm a gunsmith and make at least $30 an hour. Receipt of logging in and preparing/shipping takes approx. 30 minutes, hence $15 charge. Seems fair to me and my customers say I'm cheap compared to others.
Reckon I was poor and deprived, as we only had brown paper bags. It was less to carry, so I guess I did not mind too much. I'm sure I would have forgotten a lunch box at least every couple of days, so a brown bag was a pretty good idea.
My wife is positively brutal with her Model 36. She would literally tear your heart out with it at the 10 yard line. I would not piss her off from 25 yards with it, because she could ruin your day at that distance. I've seen her hit a bowling pin at 25 yards with every round.
Snubs hit where aimed.
The short answer is yes. Easy fix if not a critical/fitted surface.
If it bugs you it's worth fixing. Then again, I make a living fixing just such things.
