    Looking HARD at a 2.0 10mm

I've had a 4 inch M&P 2.0 for about three years and it has been 100% reliable, very accurate, and has great ergonomics and trigger. I thought the sights were really dorky looking and wanted to change them, but I'm 66 and my eyesight has faded and the sights work excellent for me. I shoot it...

    Don't ever remember this happening

I've lived in Oklahoma most of my life and I've used my air-conditioner before in January but I don't ever remember using my heater in August... until today. It's 63 degrees for a high and the real feel is somewhat colder.

    Garage Sale Drought

I've had garage sales in the past and made a lot of cash but I haven't done one in many years. I remember a guy trying to talk me down on an expensive new Polo shirt I had never worn and I was only asking two dollars. He kept hounding me to go lower and I said "no, I'll just use it for a rag to...

    Knifeless Ex-Seal?

I have 25 or 30 knives and about 4 or 5 of them in my truck but I don't carry one anymore. For 30 years I had the little Swiss Army Tinker knife and surrendered 6 or 7 at entrance metal detectors to court houses, concerts, government buildings, airports, etc. Last time I bought the TSA Traveler...

    Holosun Optic and cowitness irons

I have an M&P 10 mm 4 inch with a Holosun 507 circle dot site and I absolutely love it. I don’t notice the Iron sites at all.

    Advice on vinyl plank flooring----

I've been a commercial contractor for over 35 years and we use commercial glue down Luxury Vinyl Plank. If it floods several inches deep in water you can shop vac it and its totally fine. Most do-it-yourself home owners put down floating floors that snap together and are laid over a sheet of...

KNIFE SHARPENING SYSTEM - ESPECIALLY FOR THE NOVICE OR A PERSON WITH LESS PATIENCE

Big fan of the Lasky, diamond, top of the line system. Not very economic but once you get the hang of it, works really great and it’s fast!

Need advice for how to sue an insurance company for home hail damage

We have pretty bad hail storms here in Oklahoma and every time one hits, lots of roofing companies are knocking on the door. I’ve owned a construction company for decades and when the last hail storm hit, I had my roofer check it out my roof. He said there was no damage, but several other...

    Model 49 info - value

Maybe $300 but I've seen people ask over $400 for one in similar condition.

Squirrels raising havoc on the bird feeders

I heard my wife scream one morning and I came running out and our brand new, slightly expensive patio furniture was all ripped up by the squirrels. They wanted the stuffing out of the cushions to build nests. I bought an RWS .22 pellet rifle with a Hawke 4x airgun scope and after I eliminated 5...

    A movie recommendation.....

Bruce Dern plays a good crazy, criminal type, like in the movie "Posse" with Kirk Douglas.

    Gun price complaints

Getting a new Tisas 1911 Tank Commander .45 today for $329 is about what a Colt 1911 Combat Commander cost new in the 1980. I under stand how the plastic guns can be produced cheaply today but a high quality forged and milled 1911 cheap is pretty cool!

    Pre Mixed 2 Cycle Fuel

I'm pretty lazy but I guess I never thought it was that big of a hassle to mix up some two stroke fuel. It takes less than a minute to make a 2-1/2 gallons and it has always worked great in all my different tools and 2 cycle engines. I never put Staybil in the can either but my garage never freezes.

Favorite 38 spl self defense load

A semi wadcutter with that sharp shoulder chopping through flesh is an under rated advantage to my way of thinking. The old timers said it had more "shock" than a rounder bullet and was much more affective on game or criminals.

Tonight we had the best Ribeye we've have had in 10 years

My wife and I love to eat every week or two at the Longhorn steak house near us. It seems to taste better than any other Longhorn restaurant we've tried elsewhere and it's typically clean, quiet, relaxing, and has good service. We always split the boneless 12 oz Ribeye cooked medium well and the...
