All, I've seen a handful of nickel S&W 52s listed on GunsAmerica, GiunsInternational with what is claimed to be factory nickel finish? Surely not ! Why would S&W make a target handgun with shiny, light-reflecting finish?

A somewhat late response but, yes, Nills still make ortho grips for them. I ordered 2 grips from them a couple of years ago. SIG H"ammerli P240 adjustable right with finger grooves-SH013 So does Rink grips, but the Rinks are not adjustable Haemmerli SIG 240

Nice.... I've got 2 of them, both fitted with the exceptional "bleilauf" (special barrel for lead projectiles). Both were NIB when I got them. Since the, 1 has fired about 20 rounds and the other is still NIB.

Hi All, Has anyone seen a Model 16-3 with a front sight like this before? I thought all Model 16s had a partridge front sight .. It looks wrong, maybe a red ramp front sight modified, but then again, I dont think Model 16s had red ramp front sights either.

An update guys : I purchased the Model 10, but am still thinking seriously about that M52. However, the odd position of the trigger, and indentations around the trigger pin on the frame really concerns me. In addition, the trigger does not look like an original 52 trigger either...

I have the funds available for one more S&W. The choice is between a nice S&W 52 no dash, or a NIB S&W MOdel 10 ( current manuf ) Which one? I already have a 52-1, and the following S&W revolvers - 67 no dash, 17-2, 14-3 SAO, 14-8 nickel, 29-8 engraved. Which one?
