In a failure to fire situation you can't just pull the trigger again, right?
So with the striker partially reset just a bit it's more like "mostly DAO", or at least "a little more DAO than the other strikers claiming to be DAO".

I was looking at some diagrams and it looks like removing the sear will still allow the hand to rotate the cylinder, but the hammer is just going to sit there.
As for the regs... it's a CA "approved" list thing.
Would anyone be able to tell me how simple (or difficult) it would be to convert a model 14 to single action only?
I'm not looking for any particular improvements such as reduced hammer travel or better trigger feel. It just needs to be single action in order to meet certain silly regulations...

So does the part of the measure that outputs the powder (spout?) typically neck down small enough so that you just hold the case under it and flip a lever?
