I'm using a Burris Red dot sight on 686-6 performance center Competitor. Any thoughts on where to mount the scope. Close to the hammer or close to the frount sight. Thanks. Fourbits
I have a S&W438 Bodyguard that I replaced the stock grips with the Pachmayr Decelerator Grips. They made a BIG differance. As mentioned above they are bigger than the stock hard rubber grips that came on this gun.

The extractor rod,on my Model 24 Classic, was loose. It would screw itself out ad prevent the cylinder from closing. The fix - screw it back in! Tiring of this routine I chose to disasemble.
Now when I try to screw the extractor rod into the extractor it gets very tight well before seating...
