    Ruger Single Six vs Vaquero

Maybe you guys could help. I want to buy a holster for my Single Six and the question is, are they the same size? Will either one fit the same holster? Fredzo

    Fanny/belly packs

Man bag or man purse During the 19th century and the ACW it was called a haversack. During WW2 it was called a musett bag. Nothing light in the loafers about that. Right now I'm trying to find a WW2 musett bag in good shape and you bet I will carry it.

Iggy, Your post really got to me, I find myself of the same mind these days and I really hate the thought. The country I grew up in doesn't exist any more. Fredzo

    Jacketed vs lead

Thanks for the info, guess I was misinformed. I don't reload, use only factory ammo. Have a few guns so I sort of rotate my practice sessions with them. The only ones I shoot hundreds of rounds from are my .22s. I really appreciate the info I get from this forum members, thank you. Fredzo

    Jacketed vs lead

My understanding is that a jacketed bullet upsets (if this is the correct term) easier than an all lead bullet. That being the case what would be the difference in chamber pressure? would the pressure in the cylinder be maintained a little longer thus straining the gun too much? Fredzo

    Anyone qualified under HR218?

Big D, The way the text reads is TYPE of weapon which should be pretty much self explanatory. This is in the retired LEO section of the text. This is also where some misinterpretation comes into play. Some of the antis are looking for anything to nulify the law or restrict who may carry. Seems...

    Anyone qualified under HR218?

I am an active duty LEO (corrections) in Delaware. I am covered by the law and by my department policy. I also have a valid state ccw permit as well as a PA non-resident permit. I am not restricted as to what gun I carry, just my choice. If and when I retire then the game changes slightly. If...

    S&W revolvers

Saxon, Good point and BTW nice looking gun. If I use +P at all it will be for defense purpose only. For practice I use 148 gr. wc or WWB 130 gr. FMJ when I can get it. Thanks for the advice. Fredzo
