So, when it comes to the PMAGS is the consensus that G2 is just as good as G3 if they will only be used in an AR-15 and have a limited number of rounds put through them?

Gotcha. That makes sense. Also the lower cost ain't bad either. I am guessing it would be wise to get what PMAGS I can and then fill out the stores with some GIs.

I know that the PMAG Gen M3s are out and are well thought of. That said, if one wanted to stock up on PMAGs, is there any good reason not to get the M2s? They are readily available and more affordable. I'm not suggesting that the M3 is not an improvement, only asking if there is something wrong...
