I purchased a Model 28-2, 6 in. barrel, in summer of 1965, serial number S263098. The chart indicates this S/N being in range for years 66-67. In 1966 and early '67 this Highway Patrolman was my sidearm in Korea (US Army). Any thoughts on this S/N showing up in 1965?
