    In that condition and with the box, that is a reasonable retail price at a LGS. Whether you shoot it some or just store it, it will probably hold its value if well cared for. I like to shoot my 4" model 28 - and it still looks and shoots mighty fine.

    Sig P239 Barrel Change Question

    I bought the 9mm Sig barrel a couple of years ago and installed it in my P239 .40 DAO (former LE pistol) and it works fantastic. I will eventually acquire the 357SIG as well.

    What is your favorite decade for S&W revolvers?

    I like the 1950's the most, but up till the IL, any decade will do fine. I was born 'pre-model number' so those are my faves.
