Well, just couldn't pass up this offer even though I don't 'need' another gun. lol Don't have a .45 yet so I just bought a M&P 45c!

I have a FS M&P 40 that does this with the 3 mags I have. If I put the mag in real slow it doesn't but with a bit of force it does. This particular gun is an unissued police trade in w/o a safety. I thought maybe it was a 'feature'. I like it.

I already have a 9mm shield I use for EDC. Will be sending it out soon for new sights, Apex trigger upgrade and some color on the slide. Figured I better buy a backup 9mm shield while that is being done so ordered that today. While I was at it I put an 40 Shield on layaway as I already have...

Thanks for the info! I already have a Shield and use as EDC and recently read an article about buying a 2nd of the same gun to have as backup if 1st gun needs repair or whatever. Just placed my order!

There are a few options on the Viridian website. Viridian Green Gun Laser Sights - REACTOR ECR HOLSTERS FOR SMITH & WESSON SHIELD What do you think of that laser? I received mine a couple days ago but it's still in the box because I don't pick up my shield until Monday.

:D I almost got the Ruger SR22. But I just like the look and feel of the M&P line so decided to get the M&P22 to train with since I plan to get those other 2 over the next few month!

I also have a full size M&P 40 on layaway. lol I'm going to get the Shield first. I appreciate the feedback! I'll just keep the full size. Guess I got a good deal. The full size is $400 there and wasn't on sale. I'll use the money I saved to buy the 2nd mag you don't get with the FS!
