I am hoping for a 686 Mountain Lite with out a lock!,

I carried my 625-6 for many miles hiking biking and canoeing in grizzly country. I'm glad they are making these mountain guns without locks so other people can buy them again.

I’m happy to see Smith and Wesson making positive choices like no lock revolvers and these new Mountain guns. There are several Smiths that I am interested in buying. I hope that these QC issues are the exception, with lots of scrutiny due to the internet, and I hope production smoothest out...

I would be up for a K frame 22 with a light taper barrel. 10 shot would be appealing, but I don’t know if that intails any loss in the feel of the action. 10 shot would be handy plinking and would make it viable for Rimfire Challenge matches

Interesting. Good to see innovation. Now someone needs to start making a spring driven Speedloader for the Colt D frame revolvers ( new cobras and King Cobras plus all the original Detective Special etc)

I used an apex firing pin to fix light strikes when using plastic training rounds with primers. Never had problems with live ammo but the plastic case must have flexed more and the factory firing pin would not consistently fire off the primer. The apex fixed that

I’m happy to see this. I still remember seeing the newspaper headline about the Clinton Smith and Wesson deal. I bought the paper and read the article. Then I canceled my order for a 686. I do enjoy some of the older revolvers, but there are new ones that I would like to use that I have not...

FYI the new mags in my photo above are from Numrich/ Gunparts. corp. they are excellent, work perfectly and are the correct factor length for the 39. Someone more knowledgeable can explain it, but at some point the magazine length was increased slightly, and most mags even factory did not fit...

Update. I ordered and received the JW holster promptly over a year ago. My daughter adopted the pistol and holster and has been winning local matches with it ever since. Both of us are very happy with the holster, the company and the purchasing process. Definitely highly recommend this this...

Here is a 39 no dash, steel frame for reference. 61xxx range. Carried and well used for many years.

Great idea. I may try that on my Ruger MK IV. It is thin and wears on my thumb if I put in a long session.
