I like the internal lock. They are so cute, but in the event i ever encounter an issue with it i will use it like a little surrender flag. From that point all bad guys will see it up and stop shooting so i will be safe. So s&w may have created a nice helpful safety to stop any shooting issues...

I prefer having a manual safety and also have nothing against those that do not want one. The majority of my pistols all have a safety except for a few. Even my newer sw686+ has a lock and find no problem having it. I have options when i dont want the safety on and/or if i feel i need it off it...
