    Flagging and muzzling and ???

I agree. It was some of the other shooters and not the RSO's that said some things that were exceedingly unkind.

    Flagging and muzzling and ???

I had an inexperienced shooter next to me sweep the line (which I was first in) on the way to looking down the barrel of a Ruger MKIII with a closed breech. She was a few empty positions down from me or I would have stopped her myself. I backed up and threw my hands up in the air which got the...

    Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

Took a chance on an eBay bullet mold. It looks good in the pictures. It's an RCBS 45-201-SWC. I don't have any molds for the .45 ACP and I do really like the RCBS molds. $39 but by the time they added shipping and sales tax more like $59. But RCBS molds ain't cheap new.

    New A/C Unit

We replaced ours (22 years old) in the townhouse we downsized too. It was $10,000 but it was a difficult installation of an entire system. We live in Texas. It will fail at the worst possible time. Plus when I called our AC guy that we've used for years he told me about the change-over to new...

    Disposing of unusable ammo

Well that was a silly way to test it!

    Best Powder For 38 spl, 357, 44 mag, 9mm, 45acp, and 45 Colt?

If I was forced to load all those with just one powder, and given the current availability and pricing, it would be CFE Pistol. Everybody's going to say "Unique". I used it for a while, not a fan. While it has broad applications it doesn't meter all that well, doesn't completely burn in lighter...

    Disposing of unusable ammo

Take them to your local shooting range. They dispose of live ammo all the time. Anybody that reloads .41 would gladly take them off your hands. Ask any local shops that sell reloading supplies.

    Model 657 6" inbound......

I was thinking that his looks like it has been bead-blasted. One good thing about stainless! They clean up nice.

    Closing out an Estate

When my mother-in-law died the oldest daughter was the executor. Unfortunately for her I handled my MIL's finances and (per MIL's wishes) I had set up all her accounts as POD/TOD with equal distributions to each child. She had long sold her house to move to assisted living so she was left with...

    .380 acp reloading

I had a problem with inconsistent OAL. I found the Lee seating die was not seating the bullets straight. It was hard to tell on the short stubby bullet but once I looked closely and rolled some loaded rounds around on the bench-top it became apparent. It could have been the seating stem not...

    .380 acp reloading

LOL. Do they make revolver shooters dump on the floor? Do they dress in Hazmat Suits to clean it up?

    Model 657 6" inbound......

They are Pachmayr Presentations. Popular back in the day on magnums as they cover the back strap. Much more comfortable with full power loads.

    Model 657 6" inbound......

As they say, even a blind pig finds a few acorns every once in a while.... Obviously, that was just those five rounds. It happens occasionally. It happens more often with the 657 than most guns though. I traded two .357's for my 657, and the 657 came with a die set and 200 rounds of Georgia...

    Model 657 6" inbound......

I dearly love mine. Load development was easy. This is the first reduced load I tried.
