    Ken: It is indeed interesting that the 625-6 Mountain Gun (1996) snuck through with forged hammer and trigger and a -6 designation since the -6 Production change (1997) actually called for MIMM components ! Jerry

    There is one aspect of the .45ACP 625-4 Springfield Armory model that is often missed. The 500 Lew Horton guns were produced in the Performance Center in 1994 and equipped with forged hammers and triggers.

    The Lew Horton 625-4 Springfield Armory was a run of 500 guns from the Performance Center. I paid $490 (years ago) for mine brand new in the box from a dealer who could not unload it for over a year. I think the ugly gold logo on the side plate made it difficult to sell ! Great looking gun...
