    I got it, Lew Horton 66-4 F Comp. Uncle Mike grips, original box no paper work, no wood grips. # LHF00xx. He give me the price 800.00. I think I got lucky.

    S&W register magnum Gun lettered to LC Hicks police department, Rolling Fork MS, Send to Hicks my Colonel Birdsong public safety commissioner at that time - 1939. Let me know if your interested. It is a 3 and 1/2 inch revolver and lettered as such. Birdsong and Hick must have been friends.

    Registered Magnum This revolver was ordered by the Commissioner of Public Safety, Jackson MS. And send to a Deputy Sheriff in Ms. I guess that's your answer to the butt swivel. Plus letter confirms that it shipped with swivel.
