yes I'm trying to remove the jacket compensator.

I know this sounds corny but I'd just bought my .500 a couple weeks ago, and I'm having trouble removing the compensator, that was already installed when I'd purchased it, it is pretty hard to turn it, any suggestions? I like to remove at ease, when I need to.

I like to put a set of wood grips on my X-Frame for show, and don't know what fits it. I keep reading that any K/L-Frame Grip fits. I sized my Hogue Stock Grip off my 686 L-Frame and it was a little different in size to the X-Frame stock grip. So can I use N-Frame or K/L Frame Grips?

How can I get that look of some guys Wood Grips, the shine? I like to have that special shine, looks very clean.

The 1st set I did and they were the wrong ones for these new 686's, If you got the roundbutt I got these from Engineered Accessories, just google them.

I think that the gun was design for women, for todays gun market, guns are selling so good, and women are buying guns like never before. Women make up a lot of sales in this gun world. Guns are made smaller to fit the women, I have a full size m&p .40 and I'm a man, but that's my opinion.

Ok, thanks I will exchange them for round to square conversion grips, that is what I want thanks.

If I were to change them out to the round butt, they would not look as square like these, it would come in cause of the butt right? Could I still keep these with out hurting anything?
