    how many of you have never owned a new S&W Revolver?

    I could be wrong, but I feel like the models produced in the "Performance Center" approach comparable quality to the older models. However, the price is 40% more than a used S&W. Very hard to justify dropping $1,000 on a revolver when a $500-600 used gun shoots just as well and looks classier.

    Fair value of 4" 686 used no box, very nice.

    $800 sounds like gunbroker prices. He is probably over asking on the rare chance someone will give him asking price, or when people try to haggle him down he can still get ~$700. Personally, I would pass on it as that's a premium price for a 686.
