Last year I anticipated a run on guns and ammo if the country reelected President Obama. I stocked up on firearms I wanted in my collection, magazines for those firearms and ammo for each caliber I own. The result, I have less ammo than I need and much more than I can afford! :rolleyes:

Yea, That new RIA 10mm 1911 is petty sweet - May be my next 1911 or I might even try that new RRA Polymer Frame 1911 in Desert Sand....:D

I did get my M&P from Buds as a VIP buyer back in the end of May, I just haven't had it to the range until now. Now I need to sell a few guns so I can pay for the M1911SC E Series I just bought as a birthday gift to myself.

I recently purchased a M&P 40 Pro 5" based on what i've heard at various shooting events. And man I'm glad I did. The target below is at 6-7 yards in a dimly lit indoor range and it was my 1st mag thru the M&P.

Anyone shoot one of these yet? Anyone plan on using for any competitions?

I have a 4013 points and shoots well. But the .40 is a bit snappy in an alloy gun that doesn't have mass to absorb the recoil. I still love to shoot it.

I just picked up a sister gun, the 4013 the .40SW version. The 40 has quite a bit o kick to it but it seems to be pretty dang accurate, much more than I am, at least. I put about 150rds thru it at the last range visit and as I get used to the additional muzzle flip I am getting better groups...
