    Shield 9 vs. Kahr CW9

I have a Kahr CW9 and it runs ok. The mags are wonky, and sometimes the first round nosedives, especially the 8 round mag. The mags are well made, but the design holds the top round at a weird angle relative to the round under it. Once I get the first round chambered I have not had a problem. I...

    SD9VE

Great explanation Very clear explanation of the hinged trigger's function. The tab on Glock and many others does the same thing. This has to be the least understood item on striker fired pistols. What I want to know is how they made it optional on the Sig P320 - is it still drop safe?

Why have a thumb safety on an M&P Pistol!

Thumb safety has it's place Good for reholstering, charging the first round, clearing the weapon, etc. I don't like safeties that lock the slide because that defeats half the benefit. I wish that people would quit thinking that the trigger tab/hinge makes the gun safer from fingers and other...

    Loadin' them stiff magazines

Uplula FTW Bought one right after I got my first pistol. Works great once you have a little practice. The one I got also has a nub for stripping rounds off a mag and that works great as well. Whoever invented it is a mechanical genius - he should be in the shooting accessory Hall of Fame.

    Glock 19 or SD9 VE?

Block or Stigma, not much of a choice. There's Ruger SR, Bersa, Taurus (i know). Hard to beat SW or Ruger for service. Murican.

Taking of white warning message on slide?

There's lettering on the slide? Who knew.

    M&P Trigger Satisfaction

No improved trigger on FS 45 Traded an XDSC for a FS 45, test fired 1/30/13, so it's pretty new. When I dry fire triggers always feel better than they are when I shoot for real. It feels kind of spongy, and the break is quite heavy. The XD had a significantly better trigger - lighter break and...
