    i have recently tried to tune the trigger on my 52-2. i did minor sear polishing with Arkansas oilstone, but on reassembly, the hammer now drops onto the half-cock all the time. anybody know how to sort this out? My beloved 52-2 is presently not a shooter, and I am feeling stupid - can't believe...

    SP Primer issues with model 52 Thanks for your comment. Around here the guys who shoot the NPA 1500 event all swear by Federal primers, but they are tough to find in South Africa. I will have to keeping trying from what's available here, so far so good with CCI's, they just cost a bunch more...

    Hi, I am new to the forum, but love the concept, and hope to use it a lot more in the future. I have noticed that my model 52 suffers misfires when I use S&B primers. I am trying CCI's right now, and they seem better. I can also buy Winchester SP primers, but in competition, if they don't work...
