    Normally i carry a bottom feeder, either HP or 1911. but do carry a wheel gun generally on trips. I carry a 686+ 3 inch in a MTR cross draw holster. Conceals nicely under a untucked shirt, easily accessible and comfortable.

    K and L frame reinforced leather holster?

    My break-in procedure is to spray the inside of the holster with WD-40 , wrap the weapon in plastic wrap, insert into holster and let sit for 24 hours. That said I have used the Don Hume pancake OWB holsters for several years. Never a problem. Very little break-in time.
