I hit the range today and did some shooting with my snub, and also my G42. I really like the J, but I'm just nowhere near as accurate with it as I am with my semis. I was easily nailing small groups with the G42, but it took much more effort with the J. On top of that, it's not much fun to...

I wear a leather bomber jacket and carry the J in the inside chest pocket, so no bulge, but I do feel the weight a bit. Not as bad a trying to pocket carry a Glock 26 or something, though, lol.

If I'm being honest with myself, I'm probably a little better shooting semis, so the .380 wins there. I also have a LC9s, which is very similar, just bigger. I do like wheel guns, though. I'm a big fan of both the LCP and my snub:D

I've become fond of carrying my M&P 340 in the winter months. I do have a belt holster, but I typically keep it in my jacket pocket. I also have an LCP, which is just as easy (or easier) to carry. The snub is better as far as power goes, but the LCP isn't far behind, plus it holds more rounds...

**update** Went to the range and gun worked flawlessly with the Apex kit and stock rebound spring. Trigger pull is still moderately heavy, but it's better than stock. I thought my accuracy was improved, so I'm happy overall. I feel better about carrying my j-frame now that I know I can shoot...

Cool. Wasn't sure if mixing & matching was OK, but I really do like the stock rebound spring vs the Apex one.

Well after dry firing a bit more, I decided that I don't like the trigger return. I went ahead and put the stock rebound spring in, but kept the rest of the Apex kit in the gun. The trigger pull is definitely heavier again, but the reset is much better. The pull might be slightly lighter than...

You might want to give it a try. Don't get me wrong, the trigger pull is way better, but it just feels a little weird when returning to it's forward position. I understand the people who don't want to modify a SD weapon, but I know how important shot placement is (more so when you only have 5...
