I purchased this Farrant modified Modfel 1950 and I had the barrel cut and crowned at 5" from the stock 6 1/2" and had a Mcgivern gold bead front sight added. Reblue, Ahrends grips, and a C. Rusty Sherrick holster...

Took this ugly duckling and sent it to Frank Glenn. He cut and crowned the barrel at 5" - Reinstalled the front sight and added a McGivern gold bead - Reblued weapon.... Ahrends grips 2" to 2 1/2" groups at 25 yards......

I am going to keep this Model 1950 as a shooter. I understand that it would be very difficult to find a pair of Farrant / Hurst stocks. Would any modern Square butt N frame grips work?
