Back in the ‘70s during pistol quals in the USMC, my friends would give me the empty brass instead of throwing it in the range boxes. I still have several thousand empty cases, complete with the crimped in primers!

I load on a Lee Classic Turret. I shoot a couple of hundred rounds a week and I have no trouble keeping up with that amount of shooting. And I have several hundred rounds in reserve.

Remington 158 grain LHP +P, although I’m sure Buffalo Bore would be even better.

I have a 2 inch Model 10 with a round butt. It’s great, but I really wish it had a square butt. They just feel so much better to me.

My Model 15 snub is one of my favorite guns. It’s very easy to shoot well even with the short barrel. And I much prefer the square butt. Congratulations on a great gun and deal!

I think the Model 15 is my favorite, but it might be the 14. I have two 15’s, both from 1963, bought years apart, as it turns out!

At the lower charges of 231 and the 200 grain SWC I would get a lot of soot on the fired cases showing that the case was not expanding very well. I would then increase the charge. I also shot a lot of 185 grain SWC’s. All my loading is with lead bullets.

It would be very hard to choose between my Model 14 and 15, but I think I’d have to opt for the 15. Just easier to carry.

Welcome from SW Washington! I have three 15’s, two 4” ones and a snub. I love them all, but the snub may be my favorite.
