I carry a 2.0 4 inch every day, and have yet to have any damage to the gun from my sweat. BTW, I carry the 2.0 with the manaul safeties. I carry appendix, in a KSG Sidekick, for over a year NOW. AGAIN, zero issues.

I purchased a Dawson fiber .180 front, and it hits to POA/POI all the way out to 25. I'm using a Proctor Y sight for a rear.

I carry my 2.0 compact everyday, and my sweat is like acid at times. Inside the gun gets Froglube on the weekends, outside gets CLP everyday.

I also recommend that you take your time with the installation.... It is not a drop in fit. It will take some time. I also highly recommend that you watch Dawson's sight installation vids on YouTube. They help a lot!

After calling and speaking with Dawson, I ordered the .120 partridge front for the 5900 series. I'll recommend that you measure your front existing sight with a caliper / micrometer. It came with the red fo installed, which I swapped to the green fo, as the green works best for me...
