I like the longer grip of the slimline. And with a sling attachment or M-lock further back or closer to center, it stays out of the way of your hand.

My post may have been misleading. I am looking for a front rail that coincides with the existing gas block or if I have to, change out the block. I just didnt know if there was something with decent length extending past the block that was a bolt on.

Just picked up an Optics ready version with the red dot and was curious what options I had for the front hand grip or guard and dealing with the gas block. Considering a full float, but want something solid. Thanks in advance
