had this happen to me today. pin fell out, still have plunger and spring. smith said they are sending me a spring today, also. hope it gets here soon! hev read on ideas on how it keep it in place, will try as soon as it comes in the mail.

I ordered 2 from smith and Wesson on 23 may and received them just this week. less than 50$ for 2 shipped to my house. love my 15-22!!!!
