I have a 5906 and tried to fit it in a Safariland SLS duty holster for a 5946. It would not fit. I thought they have the same dimensions and the only difference is the 5946 is a DAO. Am I missing something?

Thanks guys! Gen 3's are not very plentiful here in Canada, so the pickings are slim. Can't wait to shoot them both. I know Safariland carries a duty holster for the 5906, but does anyone have any other other recommendation for a holster that has some retention. Looking at CQB stuff...

It all started with a buddy of mine telling me a guy he knows is downsizing. I got in with said gentleman and scheduled a time to see his wares. He mostly had rifles with a few handguns. The 5904 was in a pouch on the safe door. I was not familiar with the Gen 3's at all. The closest I ever...

I have a 19-3 that's got a 4 1/8" barrel. There was a time that the quality control wasn't up to par, so there were variances. Some of those are coveted here in Canada because of our stupid barrel length rule.

Have a Model 586 with no dash and a serial number starting with AUN. Can't find it in the book. Any help as to year of manufacture and possibly a reworked revolver? What do you guys think?

Took the twins out the othe night nd they shot superbly. The 66 is a bit off, but didn't bother adjusting it. Next trip. They are so fun to shoot!
