Possible the dealer swapped them?

Bought one and I love it. Of all the guns I have ever owned this is my baby. But the gun has wear marks on the left side of the frame where the safety makes contack with the frame. I don't think this is a normal condition is it? I paid good money and this is the only thing that makes me sad...

I bought a M&P 360 from a buddy and like the gun a lot but every now and again when I eject the brass the whole cylinder starts to slide off. Never had this happen before with any wheel gun. I don't have the owners manual but I am pretty darn sure this should not be occurring. Any advice...
