    thanks again for everyone helping out. Since posting, I have shot this quit a bit and its a good one. do find it strange however, that its not a pinned barrel....but has the recessed cylinder ...?? (65-2)

    Thanks for the help guys. gonna take her to the range in the morning and see how it goes. sure was glad to find this piece and rescue it. I do know that the former owner ( deceased) lived in Germany and was career military,(US) so i guess the German connection makes sense.

    Message Click on "message" for picture. this was after the first round of cleaning. I took her completely apart and she cleaned up pretty nice.
