I have a 6 shot 38S&W five screw gun, 2" bbl, wood grips w/diamond, two dowel pins, blued finish, serial # C56713. Does the C indicate 1948 DOB or later, and what is the correct model number of this gun - M&P, 10? I wish I was smarter!

Old Grip Screw Another alternative is to get a set of all purpose grip screws and escuteons (sp?)from Brownells. They're extra long and ca be cut to fit.
