    M&P15 Sport On the Way!

It is now a 1:9 twist, with standard 6 grooves/lands...not 5R. Smith changed the barrels at the beginning of this year. I think it's still melonite though, not chrome.

Reassembly problem with Shield - HELP!

This exact issue happened to me a couple days ago when I first disassembled my Shield. I took the slide back off, reseated the recoil spring, and it went back on without a hitch. Seems the Shield recoil spring placement is pretty finicky.

    Installed iDots on my Shield

I'd love to see detail pics of the rear iDot sight on the Shield. I have Ameriglo iDot Pros (SW-301) on my 9c that I'm thinking of putting on my new Shield, but it seems there will be some overhang on the rear sight (I don't have calipers to confirm). Please post a few pics if you get the...

I just started carrying my M&P9c in a Foxx hybrid (very comfortable) and went from 33 to 34.

    Grease for Slide M&P 9?

I'm not a high volume shooter by any stretch, but RemOil does the trick for me. I also thoroughly clean every gun after every session.

    Thumb safety

Both my 9FS and 9c had thumb safeties, but I removed them after one particular class showed me clearly that they'd slow me down in a life-or-death scenario. I removed the safeties from both and don't regret it (S&W sent me the plugs for free when I first purchased the pistols). This may or may...

    m&p 9c loose ejector wiggles.

For the record, my 9c has never had any issues at all, but my 9FS had multiple light primer strikes from the get-go. Prior to my last class, I took the 9FS slide down and cleaned out the striker channel. Now it cranks on the primer. Feed/ejection issues have never occurred for me in either...

    m&p 9c loose ejector wiggles.

Both my 9FS and 9c have thumb safeties (since removed) and both have somewhat loose ejectors. I've taken the sear blocks apart on both and there's no way for the ejectors to be attached any more solid than they are (at least on the sear block with the thumb safety mechanism).
