I just picked up a very nice Model 14-3 at an auction, but it came with rubber combat grips. I would like to get period correct wood grips for this. What should I be looking for? TIA -H

Don't ever mess with a 99% gun - find an old beater for your project! My 2 cents...

In doing a quick internet search on 9mm NATO, I found pressure and velocity numbers all over the place - many put the NATO stuff at near 200-300 fps faster than that - more like 1350 fps, or more.

I do not know the manufacturer - but it was described to me as 124 gr FMJ NATO ammo, which as I understand it is similar to a +P ammo though much on the internet is confusing about the actual pressures of +P, +P+, and NATO ammo.

I have an opportunity to buy a dozen boxes of NATO 9mm at an attractive price. My brother has a S&W 910 (alloy frame?) and wants to know if it's OK to use in his handgun. Thoughts/comments welcome. TIA
