    Need help identifying a S&W 38 Special

Hi Dwalt.. thanks for the additional information. There's nothing on the top strap. Appears to be a numbers-matching pistol. The wife's grandfather was an aviator, which fits with the apparent issue of the firearm.

    Need help identifying a S&W 38 Special

Thanks Guy/Alan. That helps with its' origin. It was apparently my wife's grandfather's gun. He served in WWII, but not sure if this was his service revolver or if it was acquired outside his duty. It appears to be in its' original shoulder holster (has a US marking on it). The pistol shows...

If not using a supressor, do I need to "time" the flash hider? How do I do it and how do I know when it...

WTB my first 15-22 ? please help

Since you asked specifically about a store in D/FW, try Cheaper Than Dirt in N. FW near Meacham Field. That's where I got my MOE. Negotiated a good walk-out price, that's hit-or-miss from what I hear. Not sure if they've jacked their prices now due to limited availability at the moment. I lucked...

Accuracy expectations for the M&P 15-22

Maybe this will help with your question - yesterday I went to the range for the first time with my new MOE 15-22. The first 200 rounds of Mini-Mags were used to sight in the iron sights, the EOTech and break-in the rifle (as if it needed it?) all at 50 yds. Rounds 300-399 were used to see how...
