    In regards to the oil for the job, did you use gun oil? Specific brand type?

    I own both a 5946(service) and a 3953TSW(off duty) and love them both. I actually convinced my partner, a die hard Glock guy, to switch over. I would start with the 5906. Great starter/intro to Smiths, in my opinion.
